The UX process of A Tempo was an exciting journey full of research, analysis, design, and content writing that allowed the team to create a user-centric shoe e-commerce page that meets their specific footwear needs. ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐จโ๐ป๐ฉโ๐ป
๐ช๐ผTeamwork: I worked with a teammate on the UI/UX part and led the design process, which allowed us to finish the project in just 2 weeks.
๐จCreative skills: I conducted a competitor analysis and added the main functionalities of the site, demonstrating my ability to come up with innovative solutions.
๐Organization and leadership: My team members noticed my leadership and organization skills, which were crucial to the success of the project.
๐ฅ๏ธWeb and mobile design: I was responsible for designing both the web and mobile versions of the screens, demonstrating my ability to work on different platforms.
๐Future improvements: We are considering the possibility of adding new functionalities and improving existing ones, such as including accessibility features, optimizing the process of saving multiple addresses, and incorporating billing data.
During the research process, our UX team realized that shoe photos on white backgrounds would need a light mode page to properly stand out. That's when I came up with the idea of incorporating the Userway widget, which is easy to install and provides us with different accessibility options, such as contrast and text enhancements for people with dyslexia. ๐ค๐๐ธ๐ค
We decided to incorporate it to meet the MVP, and the free Userway Widget was successfully implemented on our website. It even works on both web and mobile versions, which is a big advantage for our users. ๐๐ป๐ฑ With this tool, we were able to significantly improve the user experience and make our page more accessible for everyone. ๐๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ
