Project Image 1

During the project, I contributed to improving the UI/UX process. One of my teammates in the multidisciplinary team proposed an interesting idea: to allow the reservation of soccer fields among friends. However, as we delved deeper into research, we realized that this idea had the potential to expand to other sports and leisure venues, even among unknown users 💭🤔.

Experience
  • 👥Teamwork: In this project, I was the only UI/UX designer and part of the first Cohort that No Country carried out. I was in charge of all parts of the process and there was excellent communication throughout the project.

  • 🎨Creative skill: Thanks to an in-depth analysis of the competition and the design ideas that I reviewed in location reservation apps, I was able to add value to this project.

  • 📱Mobile app: Only a mobile application was developed for this project, and a website was also included to download the application. In addition, a login was included so that organizers could upload their venues and see the formed teams.

  • 🌟First No Country challenge: It was my first project and since I had never worked in a multidisciplinary team with programming colleagues, it was more difficult than other projects. As there weren't many prepared components and a less traveled path in UI/UX, I worked tirelessly for 5 weeks.

  • 🚀Future improvements: In the future, a subscription service is planned to be added for users, to access discounts and functionalities that improve communication among them.

Outstanding idea

The most important thing in the application was the location reservation system 📅📝, to create that part, I had to investigate how current reservation processes worked in other apps 🔎💻. Additionally, our app also needed to have the possibility that those reservations could be canceled and the groups dissolved 🗑️👥. It could also happen that all people confirmed and a group was formed to make the payment for the venue 💰💳.

In this first stage, we were aware that users could have problems when confirming what was going to happen 😕. Since this project was in a short time and was not in production, there was no time to test with users who used the app to see if the reservation system could be improved 🕑📲.
